Emmy and the P’s will represent the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra at this free outdoor event at Island Park in New Bedford. This energetic trio with Peter on guitar and cello, Emmy on violin and fiddle and Piero on vibraphone and hand percussion will play a 45 minute set of classical and traditional fiddle music before joining forces with three wonderful musicians from the Cape Verdean Association for a couple of traditional Cape Verdean songs. After their collaborative performance, the Cape Verdean band will take the stage for their own 45 minute set.  

This no-charge musical event will be great for the whole family. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and a picnic and join us for a fun afternoon of live music in the park!
